Located across the road from Parkside Lodge, Anderson Park is a peaceful, family (and dog) friendly, 3 hectare park. The waterways are home to many ducks, geese and swans who love being fed bread by visitors (bags of bread are available from Parkside Lodge reception). A running and cycle track runs around the park and at the York Avenue end is a great children’s play area. Weather permitting, the miniature railway operates each Sunday 11am – 4pm and if you’re lucky you may catch the Model Boat Club racing remote controlled model boats around one of the ponds.
